Association between Artificial Light at Night Exposure and breast and prostate cancer risk – the review

Introduction and purpose: Light is one of the defining features life on Earth, allowing certain biological processes to be subordinated its presence absence. With introduction artificial light, human natural clock was dysregulated. Apart from that, studies showed a connection between exposure light at night (ALAN) carcinogenesis. The aim this review present currently available knowledge in online database PubMed about Association Between Artificial Night Breast Prostate Cancer Risk Brief description state knowledge: article covers clinical population-based control which indicate ALAN can lead increased incidence breast prostate cancer by disruption circadian rhythms several mechanisms involving suppression melatonin production, dysregulation sleep–activity pattern genes. Conclusions: support an assumption that consequence exposure. Further should clarify relationship other types cancer. Besides, levels measured more precisely than satellite pictures analysis reliably conduct proving relation risk development.
